FAQ
WHAT IS SOFT WASHING?
Soft washing is the gentle approach to wash your exterior surfaces. It uses a lower pressure to remove dirt, grime, mildew, bacteria, algae and other organic stains from outdoor surfaces while using a less harsh chemical.
WHAT TYPES OF SERVICES CAN BE SOFT WASHED?
Since soft washing uses a lower pressure and special solution just about any exterior surface can be soft washed. It’s great for houses because it doesn’t leave behind a residue that could potentially damage the side of the building. Most common soft washed surfaces are wood, stucco, brick, vinyl siding, decks, fences, concrete and shingles.
WHAT IS PRESSURE WASHING?
Pressure washing uses high pressure and harsh chemicals to clean surfaces.
HOW OFTEN SHOULD I HAVE MY HOUSE WASHED?
On average, homeowners should have their homes washed every 1 to 3 years to keep it looking its best.
WILL SOFT WASHING REMOVE OIL STAINS?
No. Soft washing will not remove oil stains. Some oil stains need to be removed with steam or a chemical powered wash.
DO YOU NEED TO WATER THE GRASS AFTER SOFT WASHING?
Yes. It is best to waster your grass within 24 hours after soft washing because removing loose dirt from the surface of the siding may cause discoloration. The water will help to keep the dirt down and reduce the chance of any staining.
WILL SOFT WASHING BRING MY SURFACE BACK NEW?
No. Soft washing and pressure washing is a cleaning service not a restoration. It will clean it. Not restore it to new.
